New Zealand born and now Sydney resident, Rene Vaile's Thumbs Down black and white photo zine is a selection of photos from life. Love, nature, skateboarding, friendship, the beautifully mundane, music and the quiet life are all represented. Rene's photographs manage to bridge both a considered and spontaneous joy for life that make you wish you were on all the adventures portrayed.
Rene Vaile has created images for music - Architecture in Helsinki, Beaches and Songs as well as publishing clients Vogue, i-D, Dazed and Confused, Tokion and Mountain Fold.
