Stolen Sharpie Revolution consists of how-to guides on a variety of topics from layout to book binding to paper making, resources online and off, where to find zines, information about zine libraries, how and where to get your zine distributed, reviewed and more!

For 2009 Stolen Sharpie Revolution has been completely rewritten and expanded to 144 pages with new a layout and includes the previous information, updated resource listings for stores, distros, zine events and zine libraries. Jay Vs Beth

Photobucket
Our boy and "I USED SKATE ONCE"5 artist has a show on this week!

Mel Baxter's great concept, "The Versus Show", is a culmination of collaboration and mutual admiration between emerging photographer Beth Willis and skater/artist Jay Musk. They will be showcasing their work together for the first time- which will consist of Beth’s raw and ambient observational pieces plus her main work of documenting Jay Musk as a skater, versus Jay’s stencilled decks and painted pieces.

SELECTOR Magazine

Today the first issue arrived from Canada.
This magazine is awesome and it's free.
Come in and ask... I have them behind the counter.

"Often when reading a typical article or interview we are left unmoved, unenlightened and uninspired. Formulaic and sterile conversations prevent responses or expression from going beyond surface level. Wading through the mundane to find the truly good stuff in life can be a struggle, but it is far worse to not even bother trying. A ‘selector’ is one that singles out something in particular. In the case of this bi-annual publication, we focus on the idea of truth with the aim of portraying the honesty and sincerity of both the individuals and places we choose to examine. We are coming together to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond what’s expected – individuals who have dedicated their lives to something great. Selector’s objective is to present open dialogues with substance, to take a momentary break from busy lives to share some of the sights and sounds encountered by those pursuing the uncommon." -SELECTOR magazine website (LINK HERE)
